The Saint Bernard of America Charitable Foundation actively communicates the needs for funding of projects in the areas of health, education, and juniors and provides a tax-advantaged means of financial support of worthy charitable activities from Saint Bernard Club of America members and the general public.? All activities are conducted in accordance with the Foundation?s Declaration of Trust.
The purpose of The Saint Bernard Club of America Charitable Foundation is to strive for perpetual continuation of the Saint Bernard breed by:
- Funding research for correcting health problems in the Saint Bernard
- Educate the public, potential breeders, judges and the fancy on the Saint Bernard
- Encouraging youth to compete in Saint Bernard Events and to learn to love the Saint Bernard Dog breed.?
The Saint Bernard Club of America Charitable Foundation, a public charity trust, provides IRS-compliant enhanced fundraising for member and general public interests in the Saint Bernard dog in the areas of: general welfare, health, education, and junior showmanship and related husbandry.
The SBCA Charitable Foundation is founded upon honesty, integrity, accuracy, service excellence, responsiveness to its customers, transparency in its operations, and maintaining
confidentiality of individual donor data while maintaining full compliance with Internal Revenue Service tax law. The 11-member SBCA Charitable Foundation Board of Trustees believes in: 1) effectively utilizing its own and the Saint Bernard Club of America?s best collective knowledge to make funding decisions; 2) exercising meticulous due diligence in the selection of projects recommended for Charitable Foundation funding by the respective SBCA committee chairpersons; and 3) protecting the privacy of donors.
